Charter Bus

Shuttle Bus
|
The shuttle bus seats up to 18 passengers. It is equipped with
A/C and wheelchair lift. The shuttle bus works well for smaller groups
and is used primarily for local trips within the metropolitan area.

Coach |
The coach charter bus seats 36+ passengers. It is used primarily for long-distance
trips. It is equipped with a restroom, A/C, sound system, and VCR and 6
overhead monitors. To date, it is not equipped with a wheelchair
lift. Priority is given to the Athletics Department for transportation
to and from sporting events.

Billing
Charter bus services are provided for University affiliated groups
and functions only. When making a reservation, please include the
following:

You will receive confirmation of your reservation by fax, email, or mail
within two weeks of the original request. If a written confirmation
isnot received within the two-week period, please contact the Transportation
Department at (314) 516-5158.
Payment is expected with 30 days of receiving your invoice. Questions
regarding your charter reservation or request should be directed to Lyda
Ward at (314) 516-5158.
Useful Information
Parking and Transportation Services is committed to providing safe and
reliable transportation to the University and its affiliations.
In following with University guidelines, we do not permit smoking of any
kind aboard our vehicles. Groups wishing to bring aboard alcoholic
beverages MUST have prior approval. For approval procedures, please
contact Lyda Ward at (314) 516-5155.
Additional clean-up time of our vehicles will be charged at a rate of
$40/hour.
Please be courteous to our driver. When your trip involves a restaurant
stop, please advise the restaurant of charter bus driver when making arrangments
for your group. It is customary for the restaurant to provide a
complimentary meal to the driver, who usually dines in the bus or separate
section of the restaurant.
